Fresno County Resources Directory Almost Gone |
|
|
11th Annual Fresno City College Renaissance Festival |
|
The 18th edition of the Fresno County Resources Directory is disappearing quickly from the offices of the I&R Network. There are less than 10 copies left. To avoid missing out on this comprehensive listing of community resources in Fresno County that you can use to quickly find assistance for your clients, take a moment right now to fill out your subscription form and drop it in the mail or fax it to the I&R Network.
The 18th edition contains almost 200 programs never before published. Unfortunately, a number of programs also closed this past year and are no longer listed in the Directory. There are now more than 1600 programs listed in the Directory. Each program contains valuable information such as contact people, phone numbers, addresses, fees, languages spoken, brief descriptions, and a wide range of other information to assist you in finding the most appropriate services for your clients.
Because of the large amount of change which occurs in the human services delivery system from year to year, you will need to purchase a new Directory in order to have the latest and most accurate information at your fingertips.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the above, call Joe or Lori at (559) 488-3857.
Staff at the Fresno County Information & Referral Network is currently faxing and mailing update questionnaires to all agencies that are currently listed in the Directory. Please take a few moments to completely fill out each update questionnaire and return them the to Network offices. Your help is greatly appreciated in ensuring the Directory maintains its high level of accuracy and completeness.
DESCRIPTION: The staff at the I&R Network has started posting the monthly newsletter, the Network News, online at its website. You can access the Network News at www.infofresno.net by clicking on Network News. Within the next couple of weeks there will a form on the website that will allow you subscribe to an email list that will inform you when the next edition of the Network News is posted.
CONTACT: Call 488-3857 (Lori or Joe) for more information.
(This column looks at a wide variety of resources that are available on the World Wide Web. If you have Web sites to feature you think would be of assistance to others, please contact Joe or Lori at 488-3857.)
